Installation and Use
Installation and Use
Installation of the Brushless Motor Swing Barrier should be performed by qualified personnel following the site’s electrical and structural requirements. Begin by preparing a level and reinforced floor surface that can support the weight and vibration of the equipment. Ensure that all pre-embedded conduits for power and communication cables (RS485, TCP/IP, Wiegand) are in place according to the wiring diagram.
Position the swing barrier units accurately based on the designed passage width and alignment. Use expansion bolts to securely anchor the units to the floor. Once mounted, connect power lines (AC 100–240V) and low-voltage DC components (24V) to their respective terminals. Interface connections to access control systems, fire alarms, and emergency controls should also be completed at this stage.
After electrical wiring, proceed with configuration. Test the motor operation, sensor alignment, and swing arm motion to ensure smooth opening and closing cycles. Verify the response speed, sensor triggering accuracy, and LED indicator functions. Use the control panel or software interface to set opening logic, direction control, and authentication settings (RFID, biometric, QR, etc.).
Use
During daily use, the gate remains in standby mode until it receives a valid signal from the connected access system. Once authenticated, the swing arm opens in the programmed direction, allowing a single user to pass. The gate then automatically resets and prepares for the next entry.
Infrared sensors actively monitor for tailgating, reverse entry, or obstruction. If irregular activity is detected, the system will lock the arm or trigger an alert, depending on its configured response.
In the event of a power failure or fire alarm, the barrier automatically enters fail-safe mode, opening the arms to allow free passage for evacuation. After power is restored, the system reinitializes and resumes normal operation.
For maintenance, regularly inspect the motor, swing arm movement, and sensor cleanliness. Avoid placing heavy objects near the gate or exposing it to corrosive environments. Firmware or access control updates should be carried out through authorized service tools.
With proper installation and usage, the Brushless Motor Swing Barrier delivers stable, secure, and efficient access management for a wide range of facilities.

FAQ
FAQ
1. What are the advantages of a brushless motor?
It runs quieter, lasts longer, and requires less maintenance compared to brushed motors, especially in high-usage environments.
2. Can the gate be used in semi-outdoor settings?
Yes, it has an IP54 rating and is suitable for covered outdoor or sheltered semi-outdoor locations.
3. How is tailgating detected?
Infrared sensors track each person passing through. Unauthorized following triggers alarms or access denial.
4. What happens in case of a power outage?
The system enters fail-safe mode, and the swing arms open automatically to allow free passage for emergency evacuation.
5. Is it compatible with my existing access system?
Yes, it supports standard RS485, Wiegand, and TCP/IP interfaces for integration with most access control platforms.
